Kenneth Scott’s illustrious career spans over 45 years of unwavering commitment to community service and engagement, coupled with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. With over 27 years of excellence in real estate sales, he has refined exceptional negotiation skills and fostered enduring client relationships. His leadership prowess shines through over 19 years of brokerage services and supervisory management roles, positioning teams towards successful outcomes.

Kenneth’s dedication extends beyond real estate, evident in his over 20 years of housing counseling and education, where he provides invaluable guidance to those navigating housing complexities. As former President of the Greater Detroit Realtist Association (GDRA) in 2024 and former President of the Detroit Association of Realtors (DAR) in 2004, he has demonstrated his capacity for impactful leadership in professional organizations. Kenneth is a staunch advocate for primary homeownership and its correlation to establishing wealth in our communities. Recognizing an absence in the Western Wayne County NAACP's housing initiatives, Kenneth stepped up to serve as the Housing Committee Chairman. Additionally, as former 1st Vice President of the City of Detroit’s 12th Precinct Police Community Relations Committee, he actively fostered positive relationships between law enforcement and the community.

In his 15 years of housing case management, Kenneth tirelessly advocates for safe and affordable housing, ensuring equitable access for all. His fervent commitment to community building permeates every facet of his work, whether facilitating dream home acquisitions, providing counseling on housing options, or championing equitable policies. Kenneth Scott remains a trusted leader and advocate for transformative change in housing and in our communities.

In 2025, Kenneth launched the “Detroit Home Buyers Club” as a means to hand a baton and a lifeline to those who have sought and been deprived of the tools to attain homeownership and attain it more affordably. “Detroit Home Buyers Club” motto is “Where Preparation Meets Opportunity” Every 3rd Saturday of the month in 2025, the Detroit Homeownership Center CDC (DHCC) , a 501c3 nonprofit housing counseling agency, prepares potential home buyers to become homeowners. By the gathering of financial documents, starting a checking account, making a budget, improving credit scoring and worthiness, becoming mortgage ready and accessing down payment assistance grants and loans, DHCC’s ultimate goal is to create over 100 new homeowners in the City of Detroit by the end of 2025.
